What kinds of programs are out there for Hmong Youth?
If you don't know one, what kind of programs would you want?

Here are some programs:

*Hmong Youth Groups (Churches):
-There are many Hmong Youth Groups conducted in the Church.
*Summer Youth:
-Job Training
-Located in Fresno
*CET (Center for Employment and Training):
-Job Training
-Finds employment for youth
*Lao Family Org.
-Consist of many programs for the Hmong community.
-Many programs are for youth
-Location in Minnesota, Wisconsin, California
*H.A.Y.O. (Hmong America Youth Organization):
-Located in Madison
*Hmong Student Association:
-Help support youth in college level
*Teen Lines
-Service Bureau in St. Paul
*Asian Clubs
-Held within the schools
Note: There are more programs out there for the Hmong Youth. Our jobs are to seek for them, we must not wait for them to come to us. If you need help or just looking for a place to hang out; look in the yellows page, call 411. Do whatever you can and get into these programs out there. Most of these programs are free. Programs that youth would like to see in the future: *A Program that discusses the nature of the relationship between Hmong parents and children. -Lit *A Hmong Youth Hotline. -Anonymous *Hmong Youth volunteering their time in the Hmong Community. -Anonymous *A program set up in a gym, where teens can go have fun. -Sin Sai *A place where Hmong Youth can go and socialize.-Anonymous *A tutoring program for students wishing to persuade in higher education. -Anonymous *Leadership Program. -Anonymous *More programs dedicated to teaching the Hmong youths more about their culture. -Anonymous *A group that encourages diversity. -CY *National Hmong Sport League. - Ma Vang *Weekly held activities (ex. dances, gym nights). If you look hard enough, you will them. If not, maybe a group of friends, teachers, adults and you could start your very own program. There can never be enough programs out there for the youth.
