Reflections on Growing Up in Two Cultures

Written by young people, Facing Both Ways includes poems, essays, interviews, and personal histories that can be used with language arts, social studies, English as a Second Language, and adult literacy classes. The students write with voice and authority, and their work can serve as models for teaching how to interview, write journal entries and essays, and research cultural traditions and family histories.
